Community Pool Weekly Activities


All of these activities are included with the Recreation Center membership. Non-members will be charged a minimal fee as listed on the main Community Pool web page.

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION

Free to members and non-members


Recreational exercise designed by the arthritis foundation to ease the pain and stiffness of arthritis through slow movements in warm water.

 

SHALLOW WATER AEROBICS

Free to members / Fee for non-members

High paced aerobic exercise that focuses on cardiovascular fitness. (Advanced class)

 

DEEP WATER AEROBICS

Free to members / Fee for non-members

Exercise done in deep water with the aid of a floatation belt and barbells.  Great way to strengthen core muscles.

 

WATER WALKING

Free to members / Fee for non-members

Walking one mile in water is equal to walking 3 miles on land with less impact on the joints.  Water walking is a great way to build cardiovascular fitness with minimum impact on joints.

 

AQUATIC BARBELLS

Free to members / Fee for non-mebers

This class is designed to stretch strengthen muscles through a full range of motion with aid of aquatic barbells and foot floatation using buoyancy instead of gravity to exercise muscles.
