Come and join us as we enjoy an evening with some of our planetary neighbors,
stars and other steller companions under the Bonita Springs skies.
Celebrate astronomy with a star gazing evening on
Saturday, January 28th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm
with Linda Jacobson from Calusa Night Sky Tours.
You will have the opportunity to observe Astronomical objects to cover
constellations, planets and meteor showers and how to use a telescope and even
binoculars to find objects in the night sky.
$10 per person (limit 60)
Children under 6 Free (children are welcome with adult supervision)
Drinks and snacks will be provided

All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Bonita Nature Place, a non-profit
environmental education center located on 30 acres in Bonita Springs.
Tickets must be purchased in advance of January 28th at
Bonita Springs Recreation Center, City Hall and
1st Community Bank of SW FL (on 41 near McDonalds)
Please bring a flashlight and your binoculars - Park on the east side of Kent Rd. Wear comfortable, outdoor appropriate clothing -
Please take care of your own bug spray needs.

Earth/Arbor Day -January 21st from 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m. at the Bonita Nature Place! Join us for this FREE Event! Free trees will be given away from the
Department of Forestry.
The event will have representatives from Calusa Ghost Tours, Turtle Time, CREW, Shy Wolf Sanctuary and more. There will also be a Rain Barrel Workshop $40 cash or check/ Reserve your Rain Barrel at City Hall today!
